Welcome

Thank you so much for stopping by! My name is Gabby, and I am so glad you have found my reading and travel blog. I am an avid reader of fantasy, thrillers, contemporary fiction, and anything else that catches my eye. I travel as often as possible and am always open to new experiences. I’ll try anything twice.

I believe that books and travel are deeply interconnected, as they provide new experiences and thought-provoking ideas that enrich my life.

Here, I share the places and experiences that have moved me, as well as the books that have impacted the way I see the world, made me chuckle, or, rarely, left me feeling enraged. Whether you are looking for a book to add to your TBR, a place to visit, or just want to read my rambling, I am so happy to have you!

The Wolf King Series by Lauren Palphreyman… so far

Finally! A good love triangle!
This is a dual review for The Wolf King and The Night Prince by Lauren Palphreyman. I devoured both books in just 48 hours, and each earns a solid 4.5 stars from me. With the way this story is shaping up, the series has every chance of becoming a full 5-star favorite.

Reading Goal 2025

In 2025, I’ve set a personal goal to read 65 books, a number that feels both ambitious and deeply rewarding. Reading has always been my favorite way to slow down the world, to learn, to imagine, and to grow. I recognize the privilege in having the time, access, and quiet moments to devote to so many stories and ideas. Each book on my list is a small luxuryl, an opportunity to connect with another mind, another world, or another truth, and I intend to savor every page.

My E-Reader

There’s something special about holding a whole library in your hands, especially when it’s adorned in a cute customizable case. I’ve been reading on the 2021 11th Gen Kindle in Agave Green for a while now, and it’s become my favorite travel companion, nightstand essential, and afternoon escape. Whether I’m curled up in bed or tucked into an airplane seat, this little reader has completely changed the way I enjoy books. I would recommend the Kindle to anyone looking to get an e-reader, but I hope to try a Kobo device in the future.
